Overview
For over 60 years, Relationship Care has supported individuals, couples, and families through life’s relationship challenges and transitions. We believe healthy relationships are central to emotional wellbeing, family stability, and stronger communities — and that with the right support, people can build more resilient and fulfilling connections at every stage of life.
Today, our team of specialist mental health and education professionals works across greater Dublin and online to provide accessible, evidence-informed relationship support for all who need it.
Our work is grounded in prevention, inclusion, and professional excellence. By supporting relationship health early, we aim to help prevent difficulties from escalating and to strengthen wellbeing across the lifespan.
Relationship Care brings together two specialist centres of excellence:
- The Couple Therapy Centre — providing professional relationship counselling and psychotherapy
- The Education Centre — delivering marriage preparation and school-based Relationship and Sexuality Education (RSE) programmes
Together, these services combine specialist therapeutic support with education that promotes healthier relationships, families, and communities.
Our perspective
Relationships shape mental health, family stability, and children’s wellbeing. Supporting relationship health early can help prevent difficulties from escalating later.
Our work is inclusive, preventative, and evidence-informed, with a strong focus on quality, accessibility, and public confidence.
Two specialist services
Relationship Care brings together our three connected services into two centres of excellence:
- The Couple Therapy Centre — timely, professional relationship counselling and psychotherapy
- The Education Centre — learning and prevention through marriage preparation and school-based RSE programmes
Together, these services strengthen and inform each other — combining specialist relationship counselling with education that helps build relationship health across the lifespan.
